What I have learned about leadership
Speaker: Dmytro Mindra
Dmytro is an expert in software development and team management. Being in software development industry for almost a decade, more than 6 years he works with Microsoft Web oriented technologies including ASP.NET , ASP.NET MVC and Silverlight. Dmytro currently holds RnD Technical Lead position at "Lohika". Also Dmytro is a frequent speaker at Odessa .Net User Group meetings and AgileBaseCamp conferences.
Being a software developer is what we all are used to. It is a common role. But when software developer becomes a team leader everything changes.
This new role requires new skills, tools and knowledge.
All team leaders in Lohika pass LEAD program as an introduction to team leader role. LEAD (Leadership Excellence Attribute Development) program is provided by Bright Leadership (UK)
and it is designed for those staff who will shortly be responsible for leading others and is also suitable for newly appointed leaders who have not received sufficient formal training in leadership skills to date.
In this talk I will review LEAD program and share with you what I have learned about leadership for the last year
