The new edition of Xcode SDK and clang complier brings support for new memory management mechanism – automatic reference counting. This mechanism extends the traditional Cocoa ways of memory management, and moves the API for reference counting from Cocoa framework to complier level. The speech is dedicated to ARC usage patterns, example applications and best practices for porting old code over to ARC
