PechaKucha Night – it is informal & pleasant meeting when creative people meet up together and share their ideas, projects, thoughts & impressions or, in fact, in PechaKucha format.

This kind of format was invented by architects Mark Dytham & Astrid Klein. First PechaKucha Night was held in Tokyo in February 2003. Today PechaKucha Nights are held in 432 cities around the globe.

Except PechaKucha Night there are thematic PechaKucha meetings. Main differentiation point thematic PechaKucha meetings from PechaKucha Nights is that all presentations are united by one main theme. Whereas on PechaKucha Nights you can listen presentations on many various themes.

Every PechaKucha Night is held by organizers who is responcible for the country or city. Organisers in this case are kind of guides who ensure that every city keep the spirit of PechaKucha. All PechaKucha Nights organizers work in defferent places on their main workplaces and hold PechaKucha meetings for inspiration & fun.

All organizers are from different professional & creative areas. Global network PechaKucha organized & supported by “Klein Dytham architecture” company. In Ukraine PechaKucha Nights are held by Antony Beletsky & Timofey Yevgrashyn. Antony & Timofey are two people from different professional areas who had decided at one moment join forces to develop common ideas.

PechaKucha movement call everybody up to take a break, get away from the screen and come to live meeting with real people, real conversations, real beer and real creative spirit! :)
